Research shows that children/students and young adults are in need of possessing or refining non-academic skills in order to be prepared for future college and career opportunities. Non-academic skills are those skills that are not assessed for academic mastery, but are still needed for student achievement holistically. Examples of these skills include, but are not limited to:

  • Motivation
  • Focus
  • Financial literacy
  • Goal-setting
  • Study skills
  • Organization
  • Professionalism
  • …and many more
